COVID-19 INSTRUCTIONS

If you have not already done so, we invite you to read our COVID-19 communication for the instructions and measures to take for your health and that of your loved ones during your stay at the chalet.

  • Network: Exit Chalets
  • Password: exitchalets

IN CASE OF A 9-1-1 EMERGENCY:

  • The chalet’s address is: 7060, chemin du Lac Azur in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, J8C 2Z7
  • The closest intersection is Chemin du Lac Manitou via Chemin du Lac des Sables

NOISE AND PRIVATE PROPERTIES OF NEIGHBORS:

Charges may apply if we have to travel for neighborhood noise complaints.

  • Respect the 10 p.m. curfew for exterior noise.
  • Do NOT play music and keep a minimum volume of voice outdoors between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. out of respect for the neighborhood.
  • Keep vocal and musical noise levels at a reasonable level at all times, even during the day.
  • Do not venture onto neighbors’ property.

WATER ACTIVITIES:

  • If you use the kayaks, please return them to the same place after use.
  • The life jackets are stored in the wooden box near the SPA.

PLATFORMS ON THE LAKE:

  • The private dock is reserved for the chalet.
  • The floating platforms on the lake are reserved exclusively for members and residents of Lac Azur and not for tenants. Thank you for not using them.

SPA:

  • Instructions for the spa are pasted on the wall near the television.
  • Maintain good water quality by adding the product (white powder in the container on the steps of the spa) after each swim.
  • Follow the instructions exactly to avoid unnecessary charges.
  • Contact us immediately at 1-888-456-8745 if anything seems abnormal with the spa or if the water is not clear and limpid. We can intervene quickly.
  • Use only plastic cups outside, except for beer cans, especially around the spa.

SPECIAL FEATURE for the spa:

    • “ECO” mode:
    • It may happen that the spa falls by default in “Eco” mode, which lowers the temperature to 80 degrees.
    • Press the “TEMP” button followed by the “light” button repeatedly until the “SE” mode (missing the top bar of the top of E) and it will go up to 100 degrees.

Water level:

    • In the cold season, if the water level is too low, use the garden hose in a white container with a blue handle inside one of the wardrobes in the bedroom with bunk beds.
    • The outdoor faucet is located on the spa side of the house, near the front balcony.
    • Put the hose back inside afterwards.

HIKING AND SNOWSHOEING TRAILS:

  • Those in the area are reserved for residents and members of the APLA (Association of Lac Azur Owners)
  • Unfortunately, chalets tenants do not have access to it. If you see signs that say: APLA Members Only, you cannot use these locations.
  • You can however snowshoe on the lake.
  • If you prefer trail hikes, whether it’s hiking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, you can go to the Ste-Agathe Camping Outdoor Center 14 minutes away by car

CIGARETTE:

  • It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the chalet.
  • Outside, ashtrays are available. Use them.

FOYER:

It can be very, very dangerous to start a fire if used improperly;

  • Turn the key just above the fireplace to a vertical position
  • Heat the fireplace by burning ten or so newspaper before adding more paper and wood, otherwise you risk quickly setting the chalet up.
  • When the fire is well lit with wood, adjust the key as needed.
  • The fireplace is more used to create a warm atmosphere and not to heat the chalet.
  • The stove hood must be turned off to avoid sucking up smoke that will invade the house.
  • Identify fire extinguishers in advance at the start of your stay.

DOGS

  • Do not allow them to go in the beds or on the armchairs;
  • Do not leave them loose outside unattended;
  • Their “poops” must be gathered in the field 😊.

SNOW REMOVAL:

  • There are shovels at your disposal for small snowfalls. A hand-held snow plow will remove snow during larger falls.
  • Except during the night, it is preferable to move your vehicles when our snow plow is there so that the snow removal can be done correctly.

CAMPFIRE:

Permitted only if the fire index allows it

  • Check the fire ban notices on the RIDM website
  • It is strictly forbidden to make campfires elsewhere than in the fireplace provided for this purpose. Including anywhere on the estate.
  • Fires are not allowed in the winter.

GARBAGE, RECYCLING, COMPOSTING:

Charges may be added to your invoice if we have to sort the residual materials for you.

  • The municipality’s bins for garbage (black), recycling (green) and compost (brown) are near the chalet.
  • Transfer the recovery and garbage to the garbage cans located in the parking lot.
  • Never leave garbage or recycling outside the bins.
  • The collection schedule is on the website of the City of Ste-Agathe, North sector.
