ERRANDS

During the pandemic, it is best to do your shopping in your hometown before setting off for the chalet. However, if you have to stop at one of the shops listed below, it is strongly suggested to wear a face cover.

If you MUST stop on the way, St-Jérôme (exit 41) is the last big suburb before cottage country. You will find all the big shops and supermarkets: Costco, Metro/IGA, SAQ, etc.

From the cottage, to help you out, it is faster to go to St-Adolphe d’Howard (10 min.) At L’Épicerie / Dépanneur: Marché Ami au village, as well as the Dépanneur Ultramar. There is not a great choice of products but it helps.

For a wider choice, we recommend you going to Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts (18 min). You will find all the usual shops: SAQ, Metro, IGA, Walmart, etc. And our favorite for fresh products at good prices, the very charming Marché Bourrassa.

WINTER WARNING

For visitors during winter: good winter tires are a must.
