FIRE ALARM:
Respond quickly to prevent firefighters from moving unnecessarily if you are sure the alarm is unfounded.
- You have 45 seconds to dial your keypad access code to cancel the alarm.
- You must call or text us immediately at 514-893-4721 so that we inform the alarm center not to send the firefighters unnecessarily because charges may be applicable for travel following a false alarm.
WATER (Artesian well):
Tap water is drinkable and very safe to drink, but valuable.
- Take only “utility” showers.
- Limit time spent in the shower to a minimum.
- Wait 20 minutes between each shower when many.
- If the water ever runs out, contact us at 1-888-456-8745 as we will have to guide you to restart the pump.
MURPHY BED:
- Pull down on the panels to open the Murphy bed.
- It is important to properly position the legs at the foot of the bed.
ANIMALS:
- No animals are accepted on the site and inside the chalet.
CIGARETTE:
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the chalet.
- Outside, ashtrays are available. Use them.
FIREPLACE:
It can be very, very dangerous to start a fire if used improperly;
- Instructions for using the fireplace are on the mantel.
- The handle of the fireplace key was broken. You must therefore handle it with an oven glove until we can replace it.
- The stove hood must be turned off to avoid sucking up smoke that will invade the house.
- Locate the fire extinguishers in advance, located on each floor, at the start of your stay.
CAMPFIRE:
Permitted only if the fire index allows it
- Check the fire ban notices on the RIDM website
- It is strictly forbidden to make campfires elsewhere than in the fireplace provided for this purpose. Including anywhere on the estate.
- Fires are not allowed in the winter.
NOISE AND PRIVATE PROPERTIES OF NEIGHBORS:
Charges may apply if we have to travel for neighborhood noise complaints. Thank you for being reachable at all times.
- Respect the 10 p.m. curfew for exterior noise.
- Do NOT play music and keep a minimum volume of voice outdoors between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. out of respect for the neighborhood.
- Keep vocal and musical noise levels at a reasonable level at all times, even during the day.
- Do not venture onto neighbors’ property.
HUMIDIFIER
The humidifier helps both for your comfort and for the health of the wood materials of the chalet.
- In the cold season, the humidifier can operate at all times except during the night if the noise disturbs.
- Fill containers with water if they become empty during your stay.
TELEVISION and HOME THEATER:

- Turn off TV sound.
- Turn on Polk soundbar with controller
- Press TV until 2 white LEDs light up on the sound bar.
- Control sound with Polk controller
3) To use the television via the Bell receiver:
- With the LG controller, click on “input” and select “HDMI 1”
- With the Bell controller you can choose the desired station.
- The sound bar does not work with this device so you have to turn up the sound with the LG controller

IF YOU DISCONNECT ANY WIRES TO CONNECT YOUR OWN DEVICES, PLEASE RECONNECT THE WIRES THE ORIGINAL WAY BEFORE LEAVING
WATER ACTIVITIES:
- A canoe is available on the lake shore.
- The code to open the padlock is: 0540. Please lock it when you are not using it.
- Always lay the canoe upside down when not in the water.
- The floating platform is also at your disposal near the staircase that leads to the access to the lake.
- You can leave it tied on the water’s edge during the day, but you must put it back in the same place at the end of the day.
- Please handle it with care so as not to damage it.
- If necessary, a pump to inflate it is placed in a bag under the bed of the bedroom in the basement
SPA:
- The instructions for the spa are stuck on the patio door
- Maintain good water quality by adding the product (white powder in the container on the steps of the spa) after each swim.
- Follow the instructions exactly to avoid unnecessary charges.
- Use only plastic cups outside, except for beer cans, especially around the spa.
- Do NOT hang wet or even damp towels on the stair railings
- there are pins and a clothesline in the basement bathroom for hanging towels.
- Contact us immediately at 1-888-456-8745 if anything seems abnormal with the spa or if the water is not clear and limpid. We can intervene quickly.
SNOW REMOVAL:
- In winter, it is strictly forbidden to walk on both sides of the chalet because the snow accumulated on the roof can leave without warning and cause serious injuries.
- There is an icebreaker and a shovel at your disposal to prepare the passage to get to the spa: it can become dangerously icy after swimming.
- Except during the night, it is preferable to move your vehicles when our snow plow is there so that the snow removal can be done correctly.
GARBAGE, RECYCLING, COMPOSTING:
Charges may be added to your invoice if we have to sort the residual materials for you.
- The municipality’s bins for garbage (black), recycling (green) and compost (brown) are on the edge of the street.
- Never leave garbage or recycling outside the bins.
