INFORMATIONS TO READ ABSOLUTELY FOR THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF YOUR STAY!

WI-FI 

  • WIFI network: XCI_t3pck9e

  • When using YOUR Netflix, make sure in your settings that the video quality is “Standard” and not “Best”.
  • If the internet is weak, we have reached the monthly limit. Contact us at 1-888-456-8745. The chalet is unfortunately not in an area where unlimited service is offered.

IN CASE OF A 9-1-1 EMERGENCY:

  • The address of the chalet is: 1050 Rue des Étourneaux, Matawinie, QC J0K 3K0
  • The closest intersection is rue Michaud.

SOUND BAR:

  • To activate the bluetooth sound bar, press the Play button on the bar for 3 seconds.

SPA:

  • Instructions for the spa are posted near the back door.
  • Maintain good water quality by adding the product after each swim (white powder in the container on the steps of the spa).
  • Avoid charges by following the instructions.
  • Use only plastic cups for your drinks outside, except for beer cans, especially around the spa. You will find plastic cups (blue) in a cupboard in the kitchen.

DOORS:

  • Never leave the doors open because little friends might take the opportunity to break into the house and we don’t want that! 😊.

CAMPFIRE:

Permitted only if the fire index allows it:

  • Check the fire ban notices on the RIDM website
  • It is strictly forbidden to make campfires elsewhere than in the fireplace provided for this purpose. Including anywhere on the domain.
  • Outside campfires are not allowed in winter.

ACCESS TO THE LAKE:

The chalet has deeded access to Michaud du Lac Sol beach, a 3-minute walk away.

  • When leaving the courtyard, you go right on rue des Étourneaux and turn left on rue Michaud. You will see the private beach nearby.
  • Dogs are NOT allowed at the beach.

 

KAYAKS:

  • The padlock code for kayaks is 000 or 1111.
  • Please lock them out when not in use.
  • The paddles are stored in the shed behind the chalet with the life jackets.

SMOKERS:

  • We provide you with metal boxes in different places that are clearly visible as ashtrays, please use them!
  • A single cigarette butt discarded in the wild pollutes up to 500 liters of water or 1 cubic meter of snow, can take up to 12 years to decompose, and could cost you money if maintenance workers have to pick it up for you.

NOISE AND PRIVATE PROPERTIES OF NEIGHBORS:

  • Respect the neighborhood at all times because fees and penalties are applicable when there are complaints from neighbors.
  • Respect the 10 p.m. curfew for exterior noise.
  • Do not play music and keep a minimum volume of voices outside between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. out of respect for the neighborhood.
  • Keep vocal and musical noise levels at a reasonable level at all times, even during the day.
  • If you wish to walk in the surroundings, please do not go to the neighbor’s side on the left, leaving behind the chalet. Rather go to the right where it is allowed to walk on the path that leads to the river. In all cases, respect the signs that indicate “private land, do not pass”. It is very important for us to maintain good relations with the neighborhood.

DOGS

  • They should be confined to the first floor.
  • Do not allow them to go in the beds or on the armchairs;
  • Do not let them roam outdoors unattended or let them go on neighboring land;
  • Keep them on a leash on hiking trails.
  • Their “poops” must be gathered in the field 😊.
  • Dogs are NOT allowed at the beach of the SOL lake.

SHOWER

  • The shower curtain must stay on the right side otherwise the leaking water may flow to the basement.

GARBAGE, RECYCLING, COMPOSTING:

Please sort your residual materials well. Charges may be added to your bill if we need to sort them for you.

  • Garbage (BLACK), Recycling (GREEN), Composting (BROWN)
  • Never leave garbage outside the bins to avoid the visit of raccoons;

SNOW REMOVAL

  • Except at night, please move your vehicles when our snow plow is there.
