IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ TO GUIDE YOU BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE:

 

As all good things come to an end, your stay at LE MONTAGNARD is already over.

 

Here are some information to know before leaving the chalet.


Check-out is at noon the latest.

 

BEFORE YOU LEAVE:

Cleaning fees are included in the price of your stay. However, we ask you to leave the cottage clean and tidied up. If you do not wish to put any energy into it, no problem, but know that any extra cleaning time, over the 8 hours allocated for Le Montagnard des Pays d’en Haut on our part, will entail a minimum of 75.00$ + taxes retained from the security deposit. The safest way is to return the cottage in the state where you would like to find it if you were the owner.

 

More in details:

  • Dishes must be cleaned, but you don’t have to wait for the end of the dishwasher cycle.
  • The kitchen; counter, appliances and table cleaned in an acceptable way.
  • Leave all used towels, linens and tablecloths in the laundry room.
  • You do not need to undo the beds.
  • Put all furniture and accessories moved during your stay back into place.
  • Put away toys and board games where you found them.
  • Switch off all lights (including the outside lights) and ceiling fans.
  • Do a final checkup of the cottage before leaving. It happens frequently that personal belongings are forgotten. Post offices being far and few in our region, it can be a while before we have the opportunity to send them back to you. Plus, we would have to charge a 25$ fee on top of postal rates.
  • Close ALL windows.
  • Lock the doors on your way out and give the key to the owners or leave it where they told you beforehand.
  • Do not leave any garbage or recyclable items anywhere outside the garbage bins. Use the municipality’s bin on the edge of the street for all excesses. Black bin = garbage, Green bin = recycling, Brown = compost.
  • Thank you and please notify the owner (by text message if you want) at 514-978-9995 as you leave the cottage.
