ABOUT CHALET "LE SCULPTURAL"

Magnificent and unique architectural home designed and built by sculptor Robert Lachance. This vast and beautiful chalet can accommodate up to 10 people with its 4 bedrooms (Rate according to number of persons), 1 large living-room/kitchen, a larger and cosy living room with pool table and 1.5 bathrooms and a balcony terrace. You also have 2 single beds in the large downstairs bedroom. Security gates have been installed to keep small children from the stairway. 

The house is on a fully wooded mountain bordering “The Gyllepsie” trail leading directly to the Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park the largest cross-country ski trail network in the Laurentians with its 1 900 acres of Crown land (80 km of trails), directly accessible behind the chalet. Daily tickets and information are available on https://www.parcregional.com/. You will be able to choose between hiking, mountain bike and fat bike riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Telemark, Splitboarding and even mountain climbing. We have 4 pairs of adult snowshoes at you disposal that we lend you free of charge with the purchase of passes. 

Regardless of the climate, you will enjoy the private, year-round outdoor spa and the heated swimming pool (heated when 10 degrees minimum at night and 20 degrees during the day). If you want, you can go for a swim at the Lac Raymond‘s beach (10 min.) or at the Lac des Sables‘s beach (15min.)

This peaceful haven will delight the lovers of both nature and the arts. Look no further and take advantage of the opportunity to stay in a unique cottage in the Laurentians. The village of Val-David with all amenities is 5 minutes by car.

Pets:  Note that small dogs might be permitted in the chalet under certain restrictions and conditions. A 75$ fee may apply for 1 dog and 25$ for a second dog unless they are a hypoallergenic breed. Contact us for details.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that we are looking for a MATURE, DISCREET and RESPECTFUL clientele. As a result and following too many bad experiences, we no longer rent to groups whose average adult age is under 28 or to people who want to party without worrying about noise for neighbors because even if they are far away, as we are in the mountains and in a peaceful environment, the sound carries a lot and night noises can bother them, so PARTIES ARE FORBIDDEN. Thank you for your understanding.

Animals: Note that small dogs may be accepted in the chalet with certain restrictions and under certain conditions. Fees of $75 for 1 dog and $25 for a 2nd dog may apply (2 dogs maximum). Full details in the chalet booking form.

Full beddings and shower towels are provided by the owner.

The kitchen is well equipped, you will find, amongst other things, an espresso machine, a coffee grinder, a food processor, a dishwasher and a gel fondue kit as well as usual kitchen equipment. Generally, some basic elements are there such as: sugar, salt, pepper, a spice rack with about 20 spices, vegetable oil, coffee filters, dish washing liquid, paper towels, cellophane, aluminum foil, etc.

All you have to bring is your food, drinks, towels for the spa and your body wash soap & shampoo.

There is a gas BBQ grill (summer only), a bluetooth soundbar, a 40” HD TV hooked to Bell ExpressVu with CD/DVD player and a 36” Smart HD TV on the ground floor in the pool room.

There are lots of toys for children 2 to 6 years. A booster seat, and playpen are at your disposal and security gates for children have been installed in the stairway. 4 pairs of snowshoes at your disposal (with the purchase of passes).

The spa is open year round and the heated swimming pool in season from June 15 to September 15 (approx.) all depending on mother nature !

Cable and high speed Wifi Internet access (unlimited) are provided by Bell Fibe.
