IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ TO GUIDE YOU BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE:

 

Since all good things have to come to an end, your stay at Sculptural is almost over.

 

Here is some information to know before leaving:

 

Check out time is not later than 12pm (noon).

 

Cleaning fees are included in the price of your stay. However, we ask you to leave the cottage clean and tidied up. If you do not wish to put any energy into it, no problem, but know that any extra cleaning time, over the 10 hours allocated for Sculptural on our part, will entail a minimum of 75.00$ + taxes retained from the security deposit. The safest way is to return the cottage in the state where you would like to find it if you were the owner.

 

More in details:

  • Remember to leave Regional Park access passes on the island, in the kitchen. You will be billed 50.00$ for each unreturned pass (Park policy).
  • Dishes must be cleaned, but you don’t have to wait for the end of the dishwasher cycle.
  • The kitchen; counter, appliances and table cleaned in an acceptable way.
  • Leave all used towels, linens and tablecloths in the shower.
  • You do not need to undo the beds.
  • Put all furniture and accessories moved during your stay back into place.
  • Put away toys and board games where you found them.
  • Switch off all lights (including the outside lights) and ceiling fans.
  • During the winter season, please lower thermostats to 16ºC (unless advised otherwise).
  • Do a final checkup of the cottage before leaving. It happens frequently that personal belongings are forgotten. Post offices being far and few in our region, it can be a while before we have the opportunity to send them back to you. Plus, we would have to charge a 25$ fee on top of postal rates.
  • Close ALL windows.
  • Arm the alarm system by punching in the “movement” key, lock the doors on your way out, and leave the key where it was when you arrived.
  • Do not leave any garbage or recyclable items anywhere outside the garbage bins. Use the municipality’s bin for all excesses. Black bin = garbage, Green bin = recycling and Brown bin = compost.
  • Thank you and please notify us by text message at 1-888-456-8745 as you leave the cottage.
